The Apricity Hope Project.

I founded The Apricity Hope Project in honor of the version of me who once sat in a NICU rocking chair, terrified, holding a baby with a brand-new, life-altering diagnosis. Back then, I felt lost, isolated, and unsure how I could ever keep going. I didn’t know it yet, but what I needed most was community, hope, and someone to remind me that I wasn’t alone.

That’s why I created The Apricity Hope Project.

Today, AHP exists to care for the caregivers—especially parents of children with complex medical needs. We focus on the whole person: mind, body, and soul. A few highlights of what we do:

  • The Apricity Hideaway – a bright pink, waterfront retreat house that serves as a safe haven for caregivers to rest, restore, and reconnect.

  • Restorative Retreats – healing weekends where caregiving moms can exhale, find their footing again, and rediscover themselves outside of medical life.

  • Care(Giver) Packages – thoughtful gifts of hope, including NICU Grad Bags and Hospital Go-Bags, designed to bring comfort during the hardest days.

  • When Autumn Comes Podcast – real stories of medical parenthood, reminding caregivers that their voice and their story matter.

  • Camp: HOPE FULL – our annual family-friendly fundraiser and celebration, blending music festival vibes with inclusive activities so families of all abilities can play, connect, and grow together.

Our vision is simple: a world where caregivers are not just surviving, but supported, seen, and surrounded by community. Because when caregivers are cared for, entire families thrive.
